James P. Mcgraw
James P. McGraw is a Partner at The Lynch Law Group where he is the Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group, the Chair of the Municipal Law Practice Group, and a member of the Litigation and Real Estate Law Practice Groups. He represents individuals and businesses, ranging from small to mid-sized companies to large corporations and public entities, that span a range of industries, including construction, real estate, retail, hospitality, transportation, and government. Jim is a skilled advocate who pursues the interests of his clients while remaining open to resolutions that best serve their long-term financial and strategic goals.
Jim has extensive experience representing clients at the federal and state trial court level, as well as handling appellate matters before the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and Superior Court of Pennsylvania. In addition, he provides clients with a full range of legal services including, day-to-day counseling on compliance matters, negotiation and collective bargaining, and drafting and review of legal documents.

Representative Experience
- Successfully defended an Allegheny County elected official in employment discrimination actions in U.S. District Court.
- Obtained a defense verdict in favor of a home renovation contractor in a breach of contract action in a trial before the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County.
- Defeated objections of the Pennsylvania Attorney General to the tax sale of real estate held by a large public trust, allowing the sale to proceed.
Jim has been recognized for his exceptional service and professional achievement by selection to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars List. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected to receive the honor.
Outside of work, Jim is active in his community and serves as Chairman of the Zoning Hearing Board for the Borough of Franklin Park, PA. He spends most of his free time with his wife and two children and enjoys pheasant-hunting, fly fishing, reading, and watching sports (especially his Kentucky Wildcats).
